Marion J. Brown
Governing Board President/Thrift Store Manager

The Christian Caring Center has been fortunate to have Marion Brown as our Board President and Thrift Store manager for three years. Marion was happily married for thirty-eight years to the late Clifford Brown. They raised two sons and she has seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Marion is also an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pemberton and treasurer for the Mercy First Aid Squad in Chatsworth. Before coming to us she was the Chatsworth Township Tax Collector for twenty-five years.

As you can see, she is a very busy lady. Her dedication to the Center and her genuine love for others has been a blessing to all who come through our doors as well as to the staff and volunteers that work with her. Marion has had some health problems of late but she always has a smile for everyone and is always ready to lend a helping hand to all who seek her out. She is a real Proverbs 31 woman and we all love her dearly. If you come in to visit the Center you will have no trouble picking her out. She’s the kind, warm, friendly lady with the beautiful smile.
